A friendly chat is not enough to know where an animal will live. People who have rehomed a cat or dog: did you meet every adult in the home, see windows or outdoor space, discuss landlord permission, agree a trial period or keep the microchip details until follow-up? We want a calm, respectful checklist rather than an interrogation.
