Chugureti, Avlabari and Rike: is there a decent everyday dog walk away from traffic?

People who live around Chugureti, Avlabari or Rike, what route do you use when you want a normal walk rather than a battle with traffic? Start us from a recognisable landmark and give us the rough time. Safe crossings, noise, shade, water, busy hours and loose or street dogs are the useful bits. Does it still feel okay after dark, and what kind of dog do you walk there?
