Varketili, Samgori and Tbilisi Sea dog walks: what is it really like?

The east side of Tbilisi is missing from nearly every dog-walking guide. If this is your area, where do you actually go? Give us a landmark and tell us about pavements, crossings, transport, lighting, shade, water, building works, traffic and street-dog groups. For Tbilisi Sea or Dendrological Park, which entrance do you use, and does the place change much at weekends, early in the morning or after dark?
