Dog bite in Tbilisi: where did you get the rabies shots, and what did it cost?

By Maya C. · HAV HAV· 20 Jul 2026, 17:03

This comes up often and the useful details get buried. If you were bitten or scratched in Tbilisi recently, where did you go, was it open at that hour, what did you pay with or without local insurance, and which languages could staff use? Add the month and year because prices and schedules change. This is not a place to decide whether a bite is “safe”; contact a medical professional promptly. Please add the nearest metro or a Maps link, but never upload medical documents with personal details visible.

Could visitors mention whether they needed a Georgian ID or could register with a passport? That is usually the first practical worry.

Moderator note: replies that tell someone to ignore a possible exposure will be removed. Share logistics and recent experience, not a diagnosis.
