Introducing a rescued kitten to a resident cat in a small Tbilisi flat

By Liam T. · HAV HAV· 28 Jul 2026, 06:39

Most guides assume you have several spare rooms. What worked when you had one bedroom, one bathroom and nowhere perfect for a slow introduction? How did you arrange a temporary separate zone, litter, feeding and vet checks without forcing contact? Add the flat layout and timeline, but keep diagnosis, vaccination and parasite treatment with your vet. Discussion started by the HAV HAV Community team. Add recent, first-hand details; businesses may reply transparently, but disguised advertising will be removed.

Temporary mesh barriers and bathroom setups sound easy online. It would help to know what was actually available to buy in Tbilisi.

Do not skip a veterinary assessment because the kitten looks healthy. Replies here should focus on home organisation.

Please say what you did at night. That is often when a small flat makes separation hardest.
